Fashion has been my lifelong passion. From sketching designs as a child to watching my mother and sister, I always believed in twisting things differently to create something new. Despite societal norms associating fashion with girls, I remained steadfast. When I expressed my desire to pursue fashion designing, relatives objected, stereotyping it as girls’ work. My parents, however, supported my choice, emphasizing the importance of following my passion. Joining JD Institute of Fashion and Technology was a dream come true. Despite moments of self-doubt, hard work paid off with an acceptance letter. Walking into JD Institute felt like coming home, where creativity and storytelling through designs take center stage. I aim to break the stereotype that fashion is exclusive, showing it’s for anyone passionate enough to put in the work. Without concern for opinions, I stepped onto the path of my love, determined to prove that uniqueness in style breeds unique thinking. “When you don’t dress like everybody else, you don’t have to think like everybody else.

Uniqueness in style fuels unique thinking.
