“Since childhood, my interest has always been in the creative field. I enrolled in several art classes because they intrigued me and after that slowly started developing my interest in fashion. My maternal family members are mostly into the medical profession and expected the same from me. Thankfully my parents supported my creative instinct and let me follow what I wanted to. Subsequently exploring institutes and colleges, I came across JD. Started learning how everything in the fashion industry functions. It’s been a year and a half at JD and the faculty is helping, motivating us to be our best version and the best part is asking us to develop our style. I’ve seen growing out to be more confident about myself. The college also lets me engage in their social media platforms and other events held there.I aspire to be a renowned fashion designer who showcases her most awaited designs on famous fashion weeks. I’m learning and exploring every day here at JD. I’m grateful for the faculty who has the patience of teaching and helping every one of us and pushing us to our full potential. Just be yourself and work with your caliber for yourself. Be passionate about what you’re doing and do not be afraid of hard work, rest the opportunities will open for you eventually.”
