I had always been a confused child and just like every other high school graduate, choosing a career path was tough for me.

Coming from a commerce background, I had no plans to join a fashion institution but life plants you wherever you are meant to be. I was good at academics and my father wanted me to choose a safe career option and become a Chartered Accountant and just for his sake I gave it a shot but dropped the classes within a week, I knew it wasn’t my calling. By that time, I was still unsure about my career choices and roughly just sat and wrote down all the things I was good at, Law and Fashion became my top preferences and I started exploring Law and Fashion Institutes on the internet, that’s how I came to know of JD.

I came here for a counseling session and that was it, I’d never been so sure about anything else in my life but that was just the beginning of what will always remain the most amazing three years of my life.

At first, I couldn’t keep up with the workload, but eventually, I paced myself up and got hold of it, and having the best mentors and friends around me made it even easier for me to adapt to the JD life.

Honestly, three years flew by like three days but gave me a lifetime of memories and unforgettable experiences. I’ll always remember things I learned here, people I met here, places I’ve been to because of JD, and most importantly how JD shaped me into a confident and hardworking human which is now paving the way to my success. I’ve recently started a small venture @studio.neeka and it’s amazing to watch something I’ve initiated grow day by day.
