Hailing from Sikkim, Gangtok. During my early days, I was just like some other normal kids. Having less to care about, having fewer things to put a second thought to, or just sitting under the moonlit night sky painted with zillions of galaxies. The universe didn’t even exist for me back then. All I knew was I had friends, with a ball of fire and cheese above my head.

Years of my life ticked by and I found myself cherishing the process of art in my consciousness. I grabbed my first set of charcoals back when I was in kindergarten. That was it, Van Gogh in making!

So, yeah, fast forward – I was in junior high, a little wiser than days of my old yet more to wade through. Kept the same pace through all of these years but eventually got caught up amid all these worldly bits of advice from people around; “get into a 9 to 5 and that’s life right there for you”. I eventually found myself drifting away from the only thing that kept me sane. I started shooting up all of my arrows in the dark aimlessly.
I have always cherished Art in any form that is out there; be it Music / Philosophy / Writing / Sketch. I’ve always been fascinated with classic fashion staples/styles and have always admired McQueen’s work in great depth and had made a call for myself saying whatever I end up doing in life, it would all revolve around fashion and just then I happen to stumble across a news article where the mention of JD was present. I knew where I was supposed to be next. I had the blessings of my parents and paraded out of my comfort island. It’s been a little more than six months now and the voyage has been heart-stirring ever since.
Finally getting to do what I’ve always wanted to. I was able to come back to the only thing that was able to keep me sane; my Art.

As long as you keep on striving with what keeps you sane and serves you right is what you deserve to be doing right now above all else.
