Growing up in a relatively small town, I didn’t get accustomed to the quirks of it. I chose to live life to the fullest at a very young age. I thought very clearly what I wanted to do and worked towards it. After high school, I volunteered for an NGO University of Nations for two years. I have always wanted to represent the social well-being of society. The intent became even stronger when unexpectedly I was offered to travel to Africa and help people. It boosted my morale, it was like I found my path. As rightfully said, when you give your heart and soul to something, the universe conspires for you to have it. And the worst mistake one can do, is to let an opportunity slip. From there on, a new chapter of my life began, I traveled around the world for the love of exploring cultures, learning new art forms and giving back to society. I decided to join the JD Institute of Fashion Technology to develop the essential skills required in the professional world and became a dreadlock artist. Being a #Jediiian, I realized one fact for sure, wherever my heart is, I will find my treasure. That’s when I decided to open my store at my hometown Kalimpong, Darjeeling. I started my own company and the rest is history.
