‘When you have got a passion, your dream awaits’. I would read such motivational quotes all the time but believed in none of them.

I remember observing my dad doing business, being his own boss and it eventually inspired me to follow in his footsteps, make him proud. Well, here is the thing we won’t know what we are doing this weekend but we decide on our career hastefully, and in later stages of our life it sticks out like a sore thumb.

I always had my own creative inclinations but fashion never crossed my mind. On one fine Tuesday morning when I was about to complete school, I realized I have always loved fashion, but it never seemed approachable. Suddenly all the quotes came in handy to push me in the direction of fashion. Thankfully, my parents were supportive and they didn’t give me a hard time.

Who knew the hard time had just begun. Looking for a college that would match my priorities and aspirations was a tough cut but JD made it. Now, two years later I am here and don’t regret a single decision made towards my career. The faculty is so supportive and motivates me to explore, inspire and create. I am grateful and the journey seems exciting. So it might take some time, but when your dream becomes a reality, you finally know it was all worth it.
