  1. Ansel Adams(1902-1984)-This talented photographer was born and raised in America, where his photos are religiously known to every aspiring young photographer. His masterpieces mainly included nature and beauty, majestic landscapes, and most of his works drew inspiration from his love and fascination for the breathtaking beauty of mother nature. 
  2.  Steve McCurry(1950-)-This American photographer and photojournalist is best known as the man behind the camera of one of the most famous pictures globally- the Afghan Girl. The piercing gaze of the girl captured in the frame and the simplicity of the appearance, the immaculate presentation, and breathtaking camera work tugged at the heartstrings of people across the globe. This famous portrait photo was taken in a refugee camp in Afghanistan and released in 1984.
  3. Jimmy Nelson(1967-)-He is one of the most well-known and famous photographers globally. Their beautiful works primarily include the indigenous tribal pictures, portraits, unique traditions, and the beautiful hidden world lifestyle. His Tribal album of photographs makes excellent colors, lighting, and the subjects in their natural habitat. He blends all aspects of photography to create uniquely majestic visuals and remarkable photos.

Robert Capa(1913-1954)- Robert Capa, a Hungarian photographer, is most famously known for being the best war photographer who captured the blood-chilling excellent photograph of the Fallen Soldier. The photo depicts a martyr soldier who just got shot in the Spanish Civil War. His famous works mainly consist of war pictures and the harsh life revolving around a war-torn country and time.
  5. Lee Jeffries(1971-)- He is famously known for his stunning portrait photographs and breathtaking composition of his photos of homeless people. The close-up and artistic shots of Lee Jeffries are bound to leave you in awe. The images are worldwide famous because of his immaculate use of his knowledge in composition, the contrast of shadows and light, his unique style, and the astounding stories that each picture seems to tell without using any words. Portraits of the homeless are some of his most spectacular works.
  6. Gerda Taro(1910-1937)- She is the first female war photographer and photojournalist who worked alongside her partner and companion Robert Capa during the war-torn times. She covered the front lines of wars in her time, and she shot many photos of the life and sufferings of soldiers and civilians during this time. She, unfortunately, died in the Battle of Brunete, where she went to get photos of the events of the Republican army retreat on July 25, 1937. Her famous war photographs include The Refugees of Malaga, Almeria, Spain.
  7. Robert Frank(1924-2019)- Robert Frank was one of the most influential and most outstanding photographers. He was born in Switzerland, and one of his most notable and well-known works of photography is The Americans, a book on p[hotography where Robert Frank brings to life and under the limelight the life of Americans during the 20th century. His famous works include the visual tales of American life that he captured through his photographs- racism, the war-torn state of society, the economy and the innovative inventions, and more. Some of his well-loved photos are Tulip- Paris, and Trolley- New Orleans.
  8. Vivian Maier(1926-2009)- Vivian Maier of New York has left a landmark in photography as one of the best female photographers during her time. Although her international recognition came after her death, her street photography works and photos of daily life are cherished and adored by everyone. Her unique take on photography, her iconic style, and her immense sense of photography knowledge and composition of photographs make her one of the best-talented photographers we have ever known.
  9. Raghu Rai(1942-)- Raghu Rai of Punjab, India, is India’s most famous photographer who won the Padmasree, one of the highest civilian awards in India, for his contribution to photography. His works are also internationally recognized, and he has won several international awards for photography as well. His famous works include- Evening Prayer at Jama Masjid in Delhi, 1982, Refugee from Bangladesh, 1971, and Among the Goddesses in Kolkata, 1991.
  10. Dayanita Singh(1961-)- Dayanita Singh is India’s best photographer whose works have been internationally recognized and awarded. She has published over a dozen books on photography in her career as a photographer. Her famous works revolve around city life, the urban and upper class, and the unique culture of Kolkata. She experimented with black and white photography, intense color photography, portrait photography, and landscape photography. Some of her famous photographs are of Mona Ahmed.
